My Last Gig Was At…
Hip Hop Her Story which was incredibly exciting, and I am so honoured to have been apart of the line-up. It’s been a long time coming because the boys always get the shine in the Hip Hop industry (and music in general), so it’s really cool that Castle Lite wanted to profile the women that are involved in Hip Hop. I am honoured to be apart of that movement and the event.
In Terms of Progress in SA Music…
We’re taking baby steps, but we should be integrated into big events as well so let’s hope Hip Hop Her Story catapults other event promoters integrating both men and women artists and DJs into their entertainment line-ups. 6. From the time that I started to now, I can see that women djs have become more normalized in the local event space, but my biggest wish is for femme and LGBTQI+ entertainers to become more recognised and normalised.

I’m very excited about the femme & LGBTQI+ spaces coming out, being in the forefront and taking over. The likes of Pussy Party, FAKA are super amazing.
