All-round cool international brand, adidas partnered with top South African influencers, Minnie Dlamini, Nandi Mngoma, Amanda du-Pont, Nomuzi Mabena, Emma Menteath and Jessica–Ashley Cooper to create awareness around the new adidas Women’s range.
This is the first time a global has launched a product using local influencers in a local market in a big way like adidas has – if you haven’t seen an adidas Women billboard in some of the most identifiable places in the country yet, you may be living under rock. We first spotted the campaign on a billboard in Jozi culture hub, Braamfontein alongside Nelson Mandela and rival, Nike.
This is what adi had to say about the campaign, “this was a unique opportunity to showcase products across the various women’s categories and we were privileged to have the world renowned photographer Marco Grob join us at the shoot to capture the various looks. These affluent women inspire the adidas ranges based on their different individual styles and the variety of professions they are in, creating fashion and a diverse range of style options to choose from, for women all over the country.”
